How does Temple Filler work
Filler is placed into the temple region at the correct depth to restore lost volume, then blended by the practitioner into a smooth contour. By refilling the hollow, the treatment softens a sunken appearance, supports the brow and eye area and brings the upper face back into balance. Results are visible immediately and settle over the following week or two.
The temples are a foundation for the upper face, and refilling them has wider effects:
- Volume restoration — refills the hollow left by lost fat and bone
- Contour smoothing — softens the transition between the brow, eye and hairline
- Brow support — restoring volume can give the outer brow a subtle lift
- Facial balance — restores harmony to the upper third of the face

Patient Journey
What to expect

Consultation
Every treatment begins with a consultation. Your practitioner assesses the degree of temple hollowing and how it affects your upper face, reviews your medical history and agrees the amount and placement before proceeding.

Preparation
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment
- Pause non-essential blood thinners for a few days where safe
- Arrive with clean skin, with hair kept away from the temples
- Allow two weeks before a major event
- Discuss your goals so the amount can be planned for a natural result

Treatment
After cleansing and numbing, filler is injected into the temple region using a fine needle or cannula and blended carefully by the practitioner for a smooth, even contour on both sides. You may feel mild pressure. The appointment usually takes twenty to thirty minutes and the result is visible immediately. Aftercare advice is provided before you leave.

- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas and heat for 24 to 48 hours
