How does Chin Filler work
Filler is placed at specific points on the chin — the tip, front or sides as needed — to build projection and shape, then moulded by the practitioner. By adjusting how far the chin projects and its overall form, the treatment brings the lower face into better balance with the rest of the profile. Results are immediate and settle over the following week or two.
The chin anchors the lower third of the face, and adjusting it changes overall balance:
- Projection — adds forward or downward length to a recessed chin
- Profile harmony — improves the balance between the nose, lips and chin
- Jawline continuity — helps the chin flow more smoothly into the jawline
- Structural support — provides definition to the lower face

Patient Journey
What to expect

Consultation
Every treatment begins with a consultation. Your practitioner assesses your profile and chin projection, discusses how much definition would suit your face, reviews your medical history and agrees the amount and placement before starting.

Preparation
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment
- Pause non-essential blood thinners for a few days where safe
- Arrive with clean skin on the chin area
- Allow two weeks before a major event
- Discuss whether you want more projection, length or width so it can be planned

Treatment
After cleansing and numbing, filler is injected into the chin using a fine needle or cannula and shaped by the practitioner to improve projection and symmetry. You may feel mild pressure during placement. The appointment usually takes around thirty minutes and the result is visible immediately. Aftercare advice is provided before you leave.

- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas and heat for 24 to 48 hours
