How does Botox Brow Lift work
By placing small doses into the muscles that depress the brow, the downward pull is reduced. Over the following days the brow settles into a slightly higher, more relaxed position and the eyes appear more open. The change is deliberately subtle — a few millimetres of lift that refreshes the whole upper face rather than dramatically altering it.
The position of the eyebrow is a balance between muscles that lift it and muscles that pull it down. A brow lift with Botox tips that balance:

Consultation
Every Botox brow lift begins with a consultation. Your practitioner studies how your brows move and rest, checks for any eyelid hooding better suited to other options, reviews your medical history and discusses the shape and degree of lift you are hoping for before agreeing a plan.
Preparation
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand to reduce bruising
- Pause non-essential blood thinners such as fish oil and vitamin E for a few days where safe
- Arrive with clean skin, free of heavy make-up around the brows and forehead
- Plan the treatment at least two weeks ahead of any major event
- Mention previous brow or eyelid treatments so they can be taken into account
Treatment
Your practitioner will ask you to raise and relax your brows so the muscles can be mapped precisely. After cleansing the skin, a few small injections are placed around the tail of the brow and, where appropriate, between the brows. Each injection feels like a brief pinch and the whole appointment usually takes ten to fifteen minutes. There is no need for anaesthetic and you can leave and continue your day immediately, following the standard aftercare.
